Hi,
if you guys are frequent visitors to The Eagle, what would you say is the best night for cruising. Recently when I've been there, the music's got so loud to become unbearable and stifles any chat.

surprised to hear that, ukspark - one of the main reasons i'm liking the eagle more and more is the fact that it's usually NOT like the majority of other bars - ie volume up to the point you can't hear yourself think!

Sorry to sound scientific but, the volume of music in The Eagle is directly proportional to the volume of customers there are. The only times this is deviated from is:
* when there's an act on, it is edged up before, loud during, and edged back down afterwards (this is so people aren't shocked by a sudden increase when the act starts, and think they've gone deaf when it finishes)
* on special occasions, ie NYE, Christmas, my birthday (3rd july start saving now!!!)

Well at least there is a new club on the horizon (or harison), if you want a quiet shag, try about 8-9, especially midweek plenty of guys downstairs, or on the prowel and the music is erm taistfull?
