I haven't been to Blackpool for years, something to do with a stalking ex boyfriend who lives there.
Anyway, has anyone been lately and what did you think of it?
I'm planning a little holiday in the summer and want to know if I should bother or not.
Can't afford to go abroad, and a holiday in Newcastle, although very nice is also very boring!
;D

Thanks for that.
People coming to Newcastle usually say that it's a good night too, I don't where they go!!!

A few years ago my bf at the time said we should go to blackpool, i wasnt execting much but i had a great time and demanded we go back for my birthday the following year.
the tower ball room is a good place to chill while the hangover calms down

I've never been but I'm planning a big fat gay trip there soon with loads of us... Any recommendations for places to go for women? And also just good places to go as we'll be a mixed group In every sense.

Well I love Blackpool and get there at least once a year. Had a great time in February but didnt get to the new Handbag or Flamingos.
Has anybody been there yet? Are they as good as the old place? Is Chris duBray still there?

Had another weekend in Blackpool and I loved it again!!
For ladymissc most places are mixed apart from Pepes which seems to be mainly male and is men only on Fridays. Lucys2 is mainly for the ladies but again mixed. For a mixed group out for a good laugh try Flying Handbag or Mardi Gras that have regular cabaret.
If anyone is eating out in Blackpool, try AJ's Bistro. It is near the bars and very gay friendly. Lovely food and service and they have special 3 course menus at £15.95 and its worth every penny.
