Can anybody help me?
I will be going out on the gayscene over the Xmas period and maybe even for New Years Eve.
Does anybody know wot's happening accross the scene during the Festive season or should i book to go to another scene like so many seam to do these days?

Not much happens over Christmas. If you go out at New Year you are better off sticking to the pubs. A trip to Powerhouse will mean you will have to go to the eye hospital the following day because they will rip your eyes out with their ticket and drinks prices.

Hi Guys Thanks for your input. Sound like i might just have to get away for the festive season if they ain't very festive here. It such a pity that in Newcastle they have top major venues that attract folk from all over the UK to the straight bars being as Newcastle is in the top ten of watering holes to visit. Pity our gay scene is not as good. But there again with so many personal issues amongst the owners, rather than channeling energy into providing good venues with environments that make gay people feel safe, comfortable and at ease. As even these days gay bashing is still out there by Small minded people, we don't need gays bashing each other over Petty issues like drink prices, hours open or entertainment provided. Am also totally devastated, The no SANTA!!!! can't believe that. If that the case who's the fellow who comes to my house, empties his sack and leaves jolly?
